Who we are
Maialida is an international language consulting company co-founded by Nelleke Van Deusen-Scholl, a retired Yale University professor, and Noely Van Deusen, a Certified English as a Second Language instructor. We have decades of experience and a passion for language learning. Our unique approach is built on individual attention to our clients' needs and a custom-tailored curriculum.

Individual, one-on-one sessions. Our classes are custom-designed for our students' specific goals to help them improve their English language skills.

Small-group sessions with no more than 5 participants. These classes are designed to help you improve your conversation skills and increase your confidence.

Test preparation courses for TOEFL iBT. We offer a variety of courses focusing on each of the four skills included in the test. A monthly subscription plan is available.

Consulting and teacher training: We offer a range of consulting services, including program and curriculum design, teacher training, and cross-cultural communication training.
